Camps Australia Wide 7 vs WikiCamps

G'day All,

Has anyone got experience in the iPad Camps Australia Wide 7 app vs the WikiCamps App?
I.e. is there much difference in the amount of sites and details about the site?

I've used WikiCamps a bit, and has been very useful.

At $50+ Camps Australia Wide app is not cheap (given I have the V6 book).

Also, any feedback on what you get for the subscription, and do you need it..

Not sure about detail, just know from our recent trip, we were not always in data range when looking for a camp, so the camps book was great.

Thanks Crackacoldie,

Hadn't thought or researched much about the data requirement and off line maps.

Used the hema maps without much problems, but always on the lookout for more free camp spots.

We have the new Camps 7 spiral version with the camp photos in it, I don't know maybe its just me but I like the book how you can flick through it and have the ability to see what the sites look like.

you can download offline data for wiki camps, the setting is within the set up

Any idea about the Australia Wide Camps off line data ability? Have been using wiki for a while, and only recently found the offline data. Presume this must have been a recent addition.
