Hi all,

Were in the market for a cover for our new 16.49.1 Expanda. The Camec ones seem to be OK quality and reasonably priced. They do a 14-16 ft one and a 16-18ft one. Any recommendations on which one to go for? Is the 14-16 a bit tight?

Cheers.

RJ, go the 16-18 ft one, the fit will be good.

For our 17ft, I got the 18-20ft cover. Yes i got a camec and it has withstood the weather for a couple of years now and would replace it with the same in a heartbeat.

The van is in great condition too as the wind buffets the cover, there is no markings on the body. Suggestion though (and thanks to Xpandafan), leave a window ajar as you cover the van as the heat needs to escape.

Hope this helps. Pace.

We just bought a Coast to Coast cover direct from Jayco the other day. The guy in spares said we needed a 16-18 cover for our 16-49-4. They ranged between $240 - $260. They are currently on sale.

It was cheaper than our local dealer so I was happy with that. If I get two years out of it then I will be happy with that.

We were sent a 14 to 16 from our dealer at a very good price a while back, lets just say it's a very snug fit, I would have thought 16 to 18 would have been much better.
