Hi,
I am probably missing something, but can you also get the bottle jack under the axle if the tyre has shredded?
If so, then is 85mm enough to jack the axle up enough for clearance to fit a good tyre?

Fixed it with a plug


Good as new


Used a garbage bag to run around and catch all the nitrogen out of the tyre .... got most of it

Bahahahahahhahhha, good one Bruce............................................................most annoying that the white posts beside the road are alloy or plastic, no good for tyre changing .

Speaking of tyres today going into a left hander felt the Ute dig in a little bit, so next layby did a tyre check and right hand rear was 4 psi low, pumped it back up and all good...the old dog still has the feel...............still up so hope it was just a wobbly valve.
