Hi all,
Must say thanks for having a plethora of varied information that's easily accessible!
My names Paul, we recently upgraded to a 17.55.5shOB that suits us puuurfectly! We have had two vans previously and were researching what our third van would be , this process took around three years......
Our shake down run was up to lake eildon (a regular haunt of ours) also cooringal slips at Marlo , peach tree at tamboon inlet and plantation in the Grampians.
We freecamp most of the time but aren't shy to staying in caravan parks. Our favorite being blue dolphin at Yamba nsw .
I hope to share in discussions and enjoy this forum in the future .
Safe travels to you!
Pauly

Welcome to the forum @Pauly ... even tho we have conversed prior to your introduction ;) But keep the mod and trip reports coming.
If any questions need answering ask away. Some may not know that answer but others might.

Ha ha! Yeah it can hurt the hip pocket quiet hard, but we only go every coupla years. About time we took another trip now I think about it.
Welcome @Pauly .... and a perfect selection of tow vehicle (also in the right color, with the right canopy)

Thanks! The navs been great I'm gunna check out the new one (five link reared is very enticing) but I think I like this one too much at this point to changeover :bounce:

Welcome Pauly, we used to camp at Lake Eildon on the Delatite Arm about 30 years ago (might be more) Where the pine plantation is/was. Much water in Eildon these days ?

Yeah that's where we stay. some nice tracks for the bikes and of course we are always a stones throw from the water with the boat or canoe.
Still plenty of water atm but well down on 2/3 years ago when it was pretty much full. 10years ago we had have a van at the pondage in eildon township back then it got to below 10% , it was great to explore the old settlements that where flooded and see the original dam wall well exposed.

It's the boat loader sitting on my racks . I have been too lazy to take it off as we will still be using the boat until the winter really hits:violin:

Welcome @Pauly Blue Dolphin is one of the best parks we've been to. Keeps the kids happy, and that keeps us happy!

Cheers!
Totally agree, we first went there on our extended honeymoon (only because of the John Williamson song camel train to Yamba). Said "jeez kids would love this park , should go work on some!!"
We were right they DOoo LOVE IT!!

Just a note Yamba SA is the antithesis of Yamba NSW.
