Used to say no caravans on the sign on the way in. The road is 1.5 lanes wide with only a couple of spots to pull over and you used to share the road with logging trucks. I'd give the ranger up there a call and ask is it possible and what's the best day/time to go up.

It is a beautiful spot and I'd like to visit again. Let us know how you get on.

Thanks for idea of calling the ranger a ripper bloke very helpful.
I don't think he understood the difference between a Jayco camper trailer and Expanda but was confident we would get in. Wasn't keen at all when I asked " would I be better staying in Dingo caravan park and coming up for day trips " .Went for it a long slow drive up on a not very wide road fortunately we didn't meet anyone coming down. From the park entrance pretty rough road in - low range for a while - but all worth it a sensational place stayed a few nights and left early this morning to beat any traffic coming up. Logging trucks stopped in '71 so the sign says would not have liked to share the road with them.
