Hi all,
We are planning a trip in the September school holidays. The plan was to head out to Birdsville via Winton then Bedourie, we will then go down through Windorah, Quilpie, Thargomindah, Cunnamulla then back north to Barcaldine and then home. We are also of thinking of heading out from Thargomindah to the dig tree and then Innaminka.
Can anyone help with road conditions out that way. Are we being a bit ambitious, particularly with the section out to Innaminka?.
A few years ago we did the Gibb. Surely there can’t be any sections worse than that
Thanks In advance for your help and advice.
Should have mentioned we will be towing the 20.64 if that makes any difference to your thoughts
