Hi All
I've been reading all your posts for months now. They have all been fantastic and really helpful when we were looking at buying our Expanda (known as the Panda at home). We picked up our new 16.49.4 a month ago from Page Bros. We are now at Shake down + 1. We all LOVE it. We had the Swan for 12 months. It was a great camper, but it was time to move on.
I've got to say a big hi to my fellow Kluger guy out there - the bloke with the mountain-side driveway (the winch system - what a clever bloke). I shall never again complain about my driveway. My "quirk" is I need to use the Toyota hitch when I am going in/out of the driveway. I swap to the WDH neck (HR) when i get out of the driveway. WDH drags along the crossover. My wife loves the Kluger and its great to know it can get us there fully loaded.
First trip was to a family farm at Mansfield - Vic high country. No power or water so it was a good workout for the water tanks and battery system. All went well. External shower worked a treat after the kids (and yours truly) had a dip in the dam.
Anyway, I'll keep this one short. Attached are a few picks.
Anyway, we are very happy campers. Love this forum and the characters in it. you are all legends. Catch you on the wide open road!

- Massive Fan of the WDH - HR. HUGE difference - you can see the photo below of the Kluger without it (getting out of the drveway)
- Kids love the bunks. I think there is an anti-sleeping-before-10pm kit installed
- 150 litre frigde - just did over-nighter at Wye River Foreshore camping reserve on the weekend - beer supplies fit and the food. left esky in shed.
- I cracked it with the "care free" awning first go. Rafter popped out of the rail. Finally got my hands on an allen key and watched a youtube video before i got it right the second trip. Next time I'll just take a deep breath and 2 stubbies.
- 1 cupboard & 1 drawer open up when travelling. Found the drawer on the floor on both trips after double checking they were locked. Will fix at first service.
- it is so fast to set up and fun.
- everyone has great tips in this forum. if I had one tip to offer, when reversing into our driveway, my wife is on her mobile and calls me on mine - through the car bluetooth. she's now very calm and clear and the decibels are much lower. I'm sure everyone does this though.
