BEST water filters

A couple of questions regarding these.
Firstly, a filter was supplied with my van, model 322h. Now this filter is designed for inline HOSE fitting(ie filling hose, not pump line). Im guessing its a size thing? as i would like to fit it inline to my hand pump permanatly. It will be mounted under the van(protected) in the water drinking line between tank and hand pump. Can anyone see a problem with this?
Secondly, will the hand pump draw through the filter ok?

I have the one for the mains hose, but I'd suggest contacting B.E.S.T to see if it's suitable for hand pump, I think they do a few different ones, their site shows a few diagram arrangments with electric pumps, it seems a 322 T is in order for pumps

With mine it needs to flushed out backwards every now and again so you might need to remove it to flush it

Hi guys we have just purchased bio magic filter, a tad more expensive than the best filter however the unit comes with a replaceable silver/ carbon pack, the best filter is a trow away use also the bio magic has the whole water tank solution thingy happening and it really does seem to represent gr8 value for money.
And no I don't work for biomagic ! and in saying that I do believe the best type of filter is a good product too.

We bought our BEST filter late last week, just waiting for it to arrive. Question for you, how often do you replace the filter, or do you just back flush and keep it going.

Morning Jas weve had ours now for about 2 yrs and reverse it each fill i think they recommend replacement after 5000 lt ..

I too have a BEST inline filter. Had it over 2 years now but doesn't get a lot of use, so see no need to replace it yet.

Thanks mate, yeh I read the 5000l bit, thought that seemed a bit light on, I am guessing you would have run a fair bit more than 5000l over the last couple years, good to hear it still filters well after that time. So you just turn it around, wait for it to run clear and then connect it up. Good to hear you are happy with it.
