We usually get spare parts for our expanda from Ballarat, Bendigo, or Horsham. Today we rolled into Broken hill, only to discover a knob missing from the awning, (lost somewhere on the dirt rd between Ivanhoe & Menindee).
Did a quick google & found a caravan repair place just down the rd (literally) from the caravan park. It was smallish, & looked fairly new. Asked the girl behind the counter, & she knew straight away what we were after. She went to the shelf, & it was empty. She then looked on the computer, & found there should be 6 in store. She then searched everywhere in the showroom, & then the workshop, before finally locating one. Her friendly manner also left us very impressed. The place is called Broken Hill Caravan & Trailers. They are also an agent for Windsor vans. We also found that a lot of their prices for spare parts were cheaper than at home. Best service we have received in a long time.
