II am looking at purchasing a Expanda pop top 17', but my needs are to be able to have a quick setup regarding the bedding. Is it possible to fold up the beds with sheets and blankets left on?

We have the 14.44-5 OB and leave our bed made up all the time. Doona is left folded in the bag it came in the shower cubicle and only brought out when it gets cold.

I see that you have left the crossbar in and closed the matress. Is this the norm or am I doing it wrong. We always put ours in the middle. I am guessing it does not really matter

Maybe it's just for the photo so we can see what he meant, it would also be a pain trying to strap the doona in with the canvas dropping on your head every time.

I should also say, normally the sheets stay on, but I had just taken them off for washing
we have the mattress(3 piece, with small 200mm bit removed) egg shell topper and a quilted cover over that, then the sheets, and it folds up ok

If you live in Queensland it never gets cold. Cool but not cold. :behindsofa:
Ill see your :behindsofa:, and raise you a :p

A short story about Stanthorpe, a little town in .... um .... where was that again, oh yeah QUEENSLAND.

"At an altitude of 811 metres (2,661 ft), Stanthorpe holds the record for the lowest temperature recorded in Queensland at −10.6 °C (12.9 °F) on 23 June 1961. Sleet and light snowfalls are occasionally recorded, with the most significant snowfall in over 30 years occurring on 17 July 2015." Wow, -10. That sounds cold.

Just for comparison, Melbourne

Touche @Crusty181, but You are comparing Melbourne (capital) with a QLD country town. :boink: If we are picking country towns how about Dinner Plain (Vic).

Winter is between June and August and maximum daily temperatues average between 1.4 and 3.2°C with overnight minimums averaging between -3.1 and 0°C. Winter days in Dinner Plain are chilly but can be below zero if windy, dropping to around 1.4 °C.
