salesman showed me a new thing he heard about ...
it seems people wait till you go to bed then put a bit of gladwrap or even paper over your door handle and under the steel door catch thingy, then you can't get out and they just help them self to anything laying around the camp while your stuck inside. I can't think of any cure apart from taking that steel catch off, but even then they could just tape the handle down

lousy little pricks .....

Just tried it, Mmmmm can't see a way around this one as yet, except maybe out through the front boot, If It's Open. Hopefully this little trick wont get out there. Lousy little so and so's.

I'm not too worried. Arch back and give door a solid kick! You will be outside the van in a matter of seconds. I don't think criminals would go for this for that exact reason, it's too hard and too risky. All you need is for 1 person inside the Van to kick the door out and there is a confrontation.

We have our combo bike locks ready to go to lock our webber etc to the van/truck for a little bit of added peace of mind. It sucks that people can stoop to these low acts without any sense of morality.

Doesn't worry me. Don't leave anything outside at night.

Good excuse to extend my holiday.
"Sorry Boss, but I won't be at work today, I'm locked in my caravan..."

I'd be more worried at the next Expandas Downunder members meet, there maybe a joker among us...;)

A staffy !!! at least leave a ball out there so they can throw it for him ...... oh wait ..... i have a stupid dalmatian .... yeah you win, mine would just go sit in their car and wait to go for a ride :D
At least yours would sit in the car and wait, my Healer would help pack the car so that he would't have to wait as long to go for a ride.

No such issue with our Border Collie... He would lick the culprits to death before they would have a chance to do any damage then jump in the car waiting to go 8-)

Yep I leave nothing valuable outside without it being locked up, unless Iam really remote/private property etc but never a van park.
