I'm all for it, although I'm a total non drinker so I guess it doesn't affect me negatively so that should be taken into account.

IMO most people do the right thing but it only takes a bad one to ruin it for everyone and I would think that those people would be the ones that would ignore a ban anyway.

I was under the impression that most people avoided glass while travelling anyway.

At least, we do.

I know there are lots of grubs who don't care about doing the right thing so they make things worse for others.

I agree with Sammy completely.

What does everyone think about banning glass near waterways and camp
sites?

out of curiosity, how do you propose to accomplish this............

is it the amount of broken glass on the waterway (already patrolled by Grubbyment Officers)
in and around the Camping grounds (again, looked after by Grubbyment Officers)

so it must be the people who frequent these places that are doing the "damage"
how do you propose to make them stop............

I my self dont drink out of Glass - out of A glass, for my seldom drunk drink, so I agree with @Sammy D

how do you get the people who ignore commonsense, to do the right thing

or is it just easier to punish everyone, regardless of if they do the right thing or not...............

Don't see how difficult it can be really... Ban everything that's not in a can....Beer....Baked beans....Beer....Fake hotdogs.....Beer.....Loaf of bread (oops not in a can, need more carbs try potatoes in a can)...all good....

What else do you need on a camping trip?

Have unemployed people confiscate all non-can stuff on a work for the dole scheme. They can keep it....As long as they take it back to the cardboard box under the bridge (in a major cities lower socio economic area) where they live???
