Ouch !!! - yes if you read all of the on line bit about the adning, they all mention to beware of the spring tension.

Oh yeah, a little late leaving after X-rays and a quick trip to the shop to pick up a broken bottom awning bracket....but we will (hopefully) be leaving!
OUCH... Hope it heals OK for the trip. OH and hope the awning didn't get damaged too much
But sure you will enjoy the trip no matter... Safe travels and don't forget the pics and write-ups!

Not sure if the bottom awning bracket was broken before or after we tried replacing the brace knobs....oops
We always enjoy ourselves, maybe a little bit more now with the extra expanda luxury over the camper trailer

12months full time in a CT, we feel like we've done our penance, now time to relax!
Yeah yeah, let me stop injuring myself (and the expanda) and there will be plenty of pics!

I think you have earned the time to relax :encouragement:OK... Be careful and get the batteries charged!
On a positive note, a finger of that shape can be damn handy in some mechanical situations 
as a few designers have one the same, they design things that need that sort of finger to remove.....:biggrin-26:
Oh and a 40mm split pin is what you needed to save a trip to doctors...........................

Should be right, as long as the X-ray doesn't show anything nasty its North we head! Then West West West!
