As I am going to put a second tv in the annex, I needed to put a splitter in. However, then I stumbled across this product.

It puts the two tv outlets out the back of the booster plate and none out the front of the plate like the old one which suits me and means I don't need another splitter.

It is essentially a amplifier and signal finder in one that offers upto +0-10db adjustable gain. Now I don't know what the original amplifier offers but thought it was worth a shot in the ever lasting quest to improve my tv signal.

It was a bit pricy at $130 but I will see how it goes when it gets here.

I ran the cable today and now have to wait for tv bracket and through wall fitting for tv outlet as well.
