Hi All,

Thought I better start a thread on my brand new Starcraft Outback.
Can't guarantee the volume and quality of mods that other members are completing but hopefully something of interest will be here :)

you only need to do the Mods that make YOUR camping and Traveling better / more fun / easier

there as so many different Mods, that you would be hard pressed to try and do them all

anything and everything that goes into our Van has atleast 2 functions - or it is Banished

weight is your biggest enemy, I usually suggest either
weighing everything going into the Van
or put sticky dots on everything - remove dot if you use it
after 3 trips, anything that still has a dot - is banished from the Van

I have 2 tubs that are filled with winter goodies and 2 tubs that are filled with summer goodies

depending on the time of the year, depends on which 2 tubs are loaded

OOPS went off topic a bit sorry @Andre307 !!
Delivered options look good and will save doing the after market fitting (Sounds like you did your research)

Future Mods.... Sounds like you are planning on a few free camping trips?

Excellent list of options there @Andre307. An old saying on here though is Without Pictures it Didn't Happen! :becky:

"Ditto" ;)

Sounds great and looks like you have covered all you options. Would love to see pics. We are picking up our 17.58.3 next month and is going to be interesting to see if I will regret going totally basic with our options or not. We went with the less is more approach.

Looks great.

You should borrow the 'tardis' name from drover but he's retired it with the new van so it's up for grabs.

You have so much room and design is good.

Enjoy.

Looks great @Andre307 . I think that is the same material choice we made. Fedora arrow I think it was called. I thought it was black and white but it looks quite brown in your picture. Is it brown or black? The fibreglass sides look amazing! I knew I was going to regret not going with that option. Where are you going for your shakedown trip?

It's definitely more black, I think the warm white led lights has affected the colour in the photos. We did go back and forth on the fiberglass due to the high cost and additional weight. But I think we got to the point where the budget was kinda blown anyway.
We've already stayed in one night where it's parked in not the best weather wind and rain. Although I guess the real trip will be deep Creek national park in 2 weeks for a test run before Mount Remarkable national park on the following long weekend.
I assume yours can't be too far away now?

Great to hear it's more a black. We chose quickly and it was so long ago my memory is fading lol.
3 or 4 weeks still until we get ours, mid next month. It came off the line last Thursday :cheer2:
