Hi All,

Ordered Work'N Play 17.51-3HL OB two weeks ago so the long wait has now started. We have been soft floor camper trailer campers for the last 3 years and have had a great time but its no time to go all in and make the dream a reality. I came across this forum only a few days ago and wow there is so much information in here to start reading through, I think that I will have to make a mods list looking at all the great ideas on offer. Look forward to posting and swapping stories and ideas.

Hi leighregan, welcome. Think of this forum as the "Expanda Waiting Room", plenty of interesting reading material here, so I suggest you start making lists of:
- mods you will want to undertake
- gadgets you hadn't previously realised were essential
- tips and tricks
- destinations you'd like to visit
- etc, etc.
You also have time to practise developing a casual, nonchalant look for when you pick up your Work n Play.
Expanda owners have an unfortunate reputation for looking like grinning monkeys and acting like kids let loose in a lolly shop when they take delivery of their new van:bounce:...not quite the image of the discerning RV'er we're trying to cultivate.

Hello leighregan
:welcome:
We are new to the forum ourselves and have found it to be invaluable as we have just ordered a new16.49-4 that we had so many questions about. Everyone is so helpful and point you in the right direction. I think in future this forum will be our first port of call before speaking to any retailers.

G'day leighregan and welcome to the friendly forum. Where are you based? Tell us a bit about yourselves and some of your trips. If you have been travelling for 3 years you must have visited some great spots. We love photos.

Hi @leighregan, welcome. We are also quite new to the forum and have found lots of the information here invaluable. We have also been soft floor trailer campers for the past 10 years but finally bit the bullet and ordered our Expanda Sport about 3 months ago. As van newbies we really had no idea what we wanted or needed. The help given on this site made us so much more confident about ordering the extras we would need and the ones we just wanted :05.18-flustered: . Still waiting, waiting waiting............

We are located in Bunbury in the South West of WA, to date most of our camping also involves motorcycle racing in the form of Pony express 4hr enduros which are held on farm property's mainly in the upper great southern area around Katanning and Wagin and up until this year we headed out to Hyden for the annual Hyden 300 Quad Race. Other than this we have camped at Lane Poole Reserve and a top spot we really like, the old town site of Grimwade which is located south of Donnybrook.

Nice pics. Lived in Perth all my life ,a bit embarassed to say never heard of those spots, they look great, we have been to Wellington dam and logue brook and obviously all the usual bunbury busselton Margaret river. We live north of Perth ,wanneroo so generally head further north, chasing warmer weather, will definately start looking south.

Mmmm, sounds a little like us with the motorbike thing but is SA. Have camped at some of the most beautiful but sometimes very wet and windy private properties and pine forests when husband and son race (South Aust. Off Road Series). Hence the Expanda! We're so sick of being the last ones left in the paddock after loading bikes and then having to pack up a wet, muddy camper.:frown-9:
