Here is a pic of my old expanda i thought i might share with everyone.We bought the van new in 2004 and after 2 years the dogleg table drove us nuts so i modified it.I cutdown the seat from just inside the door keeping the drawer and backrest then made a new back and moved it over.I made the length of the seat to length of the base and backrest.I bought a straight table leg from jayco and moved it over. Cut about 150mm out of the middle of the table and biscuit joined it together.Then made a little cupboard just inside the door.I don`t know if you can do it to the new 16-49-1 s but it really worked well for us and the people that bought it off us told us they loved the layout after having looked at a standard one.

You make it sound so simple! Was it easy to remove the backrest from the wall, I had a look one day and couldn't figure out how and where it's attached..... I was thinking about re-upholstering our backrests to a nicer pattern, but now after seeing your mod........

You know what that's exactly the same club lounge layout as in Miles is expanding new 2013 model 20.63-1 OB only with a slide out, was very spacious. Stuck our head in on Friday and had a look, it's a great layout, works really well, we were impressed.
Know what you mean Jennymay, when we built our house we altered the plan from a well known builder. Later that year we walked into their new display house village and saw our exact same plan in the flesh. Pace.
