We have been watching old episodes of Discover Downunder and saw an ad for AL-KO Electronic Stability Control. We looked it up on Google and it looks magnificent. As we have experienced trailer sway with our old Flamingo (bought on by driver error) I can testify it is extremely scary. Bear in mind we will be towing with a Falcon wagon rather than a 4wd and it is not to late to add this to our options on the new 16.49-4 I was wondering what you guys in Expanda land think?

Mine is getting retrofitted, They have taken the measurements & now just waiting for the mystery black box to arrive, I sure hope it works as good as the videos.

I too had a towing experience that ended in a major trailer sway from side to side & lucky not to end in disaster, this alone was a major deciding factor for me, I don't ever want to go through that again.

I hear what you're saying CJ1177, we had major say too and I think we we're seconds away from disaster. I think we'll get it as an option now during construction.

I had ours retrofitted. Good piece of tech.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was it for you to get retrofitted.

They have quoted me $1300, I couldn't bargain them down as I knew Jayco were the cheapest price I had received in my area, but I also have a feeling that other places do it cheaper.

We have signed up for the ESC. Both of us feel so much happier. It's costing us $990 during construction. One of the quickist $1000 I've agreed to!

It is on my list of items to add also.
It is in the category of airbags in a car. You will not really appreciate how important they are until the time they are actually get put into use.
