Hey all, bit of a dilemma here at the moment. Staying at airlie beach so as you can imagine, stinking hot. We had a whole town power outage this morning and when we got back to the van after a cool swim at cedar creek falls it hadn't turned itself back on. It was running when the power tripped. And now it just won't turn on, no lights beeps or any sign of life. Every other thing in the van is running fine, they only breaker I can find is the safety switch one. Is there another one hidden somewhere? I can't find it... it's a Coleman Mach 8. Any help or advice would be great

Cheers
Matt

thanks but mines a newer model, no buttons or dials. Thinking it may have burnt out its motherboard as weren't there when it came back on and may have only been half power only for a while

Not having that type did you shut off all power then connect up again and reboot it, sometimes disconnection of power, not just switch off will reset some units.

Brilliant, great to get an answer to the problem as many forget.......................a surge protector as well as a RCD on vans would be far better I think, I have one on my washing machine at home and in van run TV on 12v but a surge coulld fizz a lot of the gear we just plug into the 240, I know most of my gear at home is protected might have to look at the van a bit harder.....................New Topic discovery.......:peace:........:stupid:
