Hi guys,

I want to put a tarp out from the awning but i want to attach it to the roller. I would use the guide used for annexes, but i will already be using that for the annex.

I normally just put it up with posts but when it rains it leaks.

Can you fit a guide to the roller like the one on the roof that the awing attaches to.

See attached pic that shows where the tarp goes

If anyone has done similar let me know

cheers

not sure about running a solid guide there on the roller, if it was me , i would get a HD Zip stitched onto the edge of the awning and the other half of the zip onto your extra tarp and just zip them together. if you were concerned the zip might leak , attached the zip to the tarp 6 inches in from edge and add velco as well to the outer edge of the tarp so you have a 6 inch wide flap velcro'd under the zip for weatherproofing.

if that all makes sense

Hi Stuart you could try a few lengths of these http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/on...al-Track-6-5mm-x-1m-x-2.aspx?pid=325573#Cross I don't know how the extra mm would affect the zips joining up on the annex would go though.
That may be an issue with the annex zips but worth a look, might me sure this and looks like it would work. If the annex is out slightly it should be still ok for the annex. Thanks for the tip. Might have solved the issue
Cheers
