I have a flat out water hose and sullage hose, I like em both. you have to straighten out the water hose to wind it up but other than that its ok. The sullage hose can kink if the bend is too sharp but hasn't caused me any dramas. No hassle, don't know what else I can tell you, the you tube videos pretty much sum it up.

I have the water hose so quick and easy to roll up though I tend to only use it when I need a long run. Also have a couple of the power reels, 1 for my main van lead, 1 for second standard lead and 1 for my coax lead.
Didn't get the sullage one, as heard they dont drain that well as they need reasonable flow to open them up

The owner/founder of the company featured in the video passed away suddenly a few years back but the company was kept running by his wife and family/staff. They operate from a small showroon / factory located at Mogo on NSW South Coast.

i brought a flat hose 10 or so years ago because I had a hiace camper van, I got it because it didn't take up much space. The only down side to it is you have to loop it out to use it, with the other type you can still use it while it is rolled up, if you get what I mean. Nothing wrong with the quality, never washed never stretch it out to dry it, lasted a long time and still looks like new.

I got one just prior to Xmas. Works a treat. I had the "original" flat hose imported from Germany by a mate but it wore out (after about 25? years). All the stuff about German quality is a bit overblown. Cost $70-$80 way back then, but I reckon I've spent ten times that on garden hose and fittings in that period. New one good value in my book. Haven't gone for sullage as always need different sizes.
