Advice for travel with kids (NT & WA)

Hi Everyone,
We're 3 weeks away from the start of our 5 month trip. We leave Adelaide and head North through the Centre to the Top End and then come down the West Coast. We've got 2 boys aged 2 and 4 and are looking for any tips or things we must do or see.

Reptile park Alice Springs.....I havent been there but have been to Alice a couple of times, maybe I should next time I always hear good reports about it.

It's not too bad from memory when we did some school excursions there. If you haven't seen many reptiles in your life, particularly some rather imposing snakes, it'll be an eye opener.

Thanks crackacoldie! Have you stayed at any of the caravan parks in Coober Pedy?

I have stayed at the one behind the pub, all are reasonably pricey and you need to pay extra for showers, this sounds harsh, but the town has to truck water in. Have heard good reports of Stuart Range CP but haven't stayed there in nearly 25 years.

Oh and remember to drive around the breakaways, just north of Coober Pedy, where they filmed Mad Max 3
