Advice asked 2 Way radio and aerial for &300

Hi all

Looking for some advice.

Want to get a 2 way with an aerial for a 150 Prado. I don't want to spend more than $300 with $250 the ideal.

Have found it would be great as we travel in groups and 4wd etc obviously fitting will be extra.

Seeking all wise input re model package and good place to buy.

This could be another option and just use it for trips only and its a GME probably only good for close range convoy though

Cool, this is mine but I have the white fiberglass aerial. A good neat little unit and good value.

Maybe a little out of the price range.

However, they charged $180 to fit.

I picked up a Uniden from gadget city, including aerial. was delivered to Brisbane next day. I picked this model so i could install the unit out of the way, and just have the hand set in reach. Hardest part of the install was getting through the fire wall for the aerial cable.

Hi I have a GME TX 4400 UNIT $100 Plus postage if interested I can send poto works great

I have on of these in my 200. Wanted it hidden behind the dash. It also has a speaker in the handset so you can hear it very clearly. Antenna I have is similar... 6db gain.
