We recently purchased a 17-56-2 Outback Expanda (and a Landcruiser 200 series). We have had two long weekends to try out the van and we are about to head away for about 13 weeks in less than two weeks. Not much planning yet - heading up the East Coast to FNQ and across to Darwin; down through the Centre and then back around the South Coast to Canberra. The kids (10, 7, 6 & 3) are pretty excited - more so about not having school for a term. Hubby has done a couple of mods - storage on the a-frame; shelves in the hanging wardrobe. If anyone has any tips and travel suggestions, please post them.
