Keep your eyes peeled in your travels for a Stolen Jayco Stirling getting towed by a Hilux. This theft happened in the middle of the day, so keep your vans secured.

I know the securing discussion has been posted before and if you want some tips do a forum search :thumb:

The Hilux is a very distinctive looking 4x4 too

They need to put the car on crime stoppers or the news. Surly someone will know him. That 4x4 would be easy to recognise.

That's no good mate... at least it was "foiled". They've made it out our side of the bridge it seems... Time to step up security I think..

Sounds like luck was on your side Pace, one of the reasons I bought a Mc hitch, they will have to come prepared if they want the baby panda.
I heard of a van going chained up with the hitch lock still on. Not sure the tyre clamp thing will slow them down. Hence thinking chain it to house and run a chain under axle as well.. Yes a pain to setup each time we come home although if they scout our place then hopefully a pain for them to take as well and they look elsewhere. There is a expanda, avan, galaxy and sterling all in walking distance of our place in the front yard. Where I park next to the station there is a nice 20" Coromal with a GPS sticker on the front.
Might get myself a sticker :)
