Hi everyone, well the big day is looming and we pick up our expanda Monday morning. :clap2: Is there a thread somewhere on some handy hints what to look out for during pick up? I'm sure we are going to be so awe-stuck we wont be thinking properly. Any help will be greatly appreciated. :D

Hi guys, good luck with everthing, it's an exciting time. There is something on here in regards to check list but basically check everthing, connect water and check for leaks, use gas appliances, check fridge, brakes, lights, cupboard doors and just have a look around and inspect in general. Make sure they help to set up hitch and adjust the screw for your tow ball on your hitch if you have that type.

Enjoy guys and hope all goes well.

Cheers.

Good luck.
Best advice I can give is if it can move then move it. Open and close every door. Flick every switch on. Drop all jacks. Open the bed ends. Try all the taps. Open the awning.
Also get under the van and check all wiring is tied down, gas and water lines look ok.
Tick off every extra you asked for.
You are really looking for obvious things. You will miss things. Anything you do miss, write it down in the back of the Jayco service book you are given and hand the list over on your first warranty / service to be fixed.

Hi OZSHEP,
I am presuming you got your van from Page Bros, we just picked our's up on wed and the hand over all went well though i would suggest you check the bolt that holds on the spare is not bent, thats if your spare is on the draw bar as our is. It took two hours to go over thing and was more than helpfull in explaining any question more than once.
Enjoy the experience it Awesome to drive out the gate after the 3 month wait and get it home to put all your own stuff inside
