Toy Hauler 2016 Basestations

had an opportunity yesterday at the caravan show to have a look at the new 2016 Basestations.

Obviously the biggest change is replacing the 21' BS and the WnP with a 19' BS, however this machine is more akin to the WnP than the BS.

With regard to the 23', it hasn't changed much although I did like the orange colour of the decals and the orange flash to the canvas. The rear section no longer has the small vent above the wardrobe and the lower checker plate was omitted from the inside. Also, the door between front and back is now a folding door rather than a traditional solid door.

Yes the folding door makes a lot of sense there, otherwise from memory the door blocks the shower so you couldn't really leave it open all the time whereas this gives a better option. As long as it isn't too flimsy of course.

Our 23 is due in April so am getting excited, actually am a bit past excited. Looking ahead April is about our busiest month on the farm so it might not get a lot of use until May/June. Anyway I'm not frustrated about the wait, I promise:violin:

All good, was just lurking on the page again. I have a disease called " I can't wait to pick this van up " this process started middle of last year and we only have a week to go. Hopefully!!!!

Had a look at 2016 23 Basestation today and the fold back door definitely improves access to the bathroom but it has a gap about 60mm from the floor to the bottom of the door. I liked the LED strip lighting under the over head cupboards and the microwave mounted under the kitchen bench.
Enjoy you basestation when you get it.

Thank you very much!!!!!!! @Base23, at least my wife can see what we are getting now. Just got an update from the dealer yesterday, possible arrival on Tuesday or Wednesday!!!!
