Hi does anyone else have problems with their windows leaking? Van was built feb 2015. Have it stored in driveway without a cover at the moment. Windows on bunk side both leaked with rain, wet mattress's. Went back to be fixed along with a long list of other stuff under warranty, they have moved the catches back on all 3 bunk windows, but with rain last night bottom bunk window has leaked again. What can I do???

am going to get a cover for it but still the windows shouldn't leak. So annoying. Have had it back for a month and last nights rain is first time it leaked. So thinking it must be only when rains comes in on certain angle?? Can't understand if its only ours though cause all the display vans have same windows, bad design.
Put a hose on windows and they leak too....

should not really care on a slope with bunk windows. Where does it leak with the hose?
They might not of sealed the window in well when installed.
Our 2014 has different windows on the side then the back.
I would ring and say you need it looked at ASAP..
We have had a long list of small things nothing has leaked yet.. Touch wood..

if you hose all 3 bunk windows they leak, water gets in at the bottom of window and runs down inside, if that makes sense.
They couldn't do it right when van built, apparently had window makers dometic out to fix when it went back, so I hold out no hope they can fix it. Think its a design of the windows fault, so not sure what they can do?
Last time it went back they fixed some things and also wrecked a few others for us, we are trying to fix things ourselves now.
Pretty bad when you spend $34000 on something....,

Not sure if they upgraded the windows that we have on the 2014 model? Our rear and side ones are different.
Are all three of yours the same?

So the water is coming in down the bottom.. Just does not seem sealed.. It really sucks
I always pushed Jayco to fix things rather then me.. yes you pay enough you expect it not to fall apart or leak

yep all 3 windows same, they push out to open.
Yes we think black rubber seals not tight enough when window closed but not sure that it can be fixed. Other than sealing windows up so they can't be opened we can't think of a solution.

our side ones are sliding windows.. I would be on the phone to dealer.. then Jayco themselves.
Try to be calm..
We have had a lot of little things although no leaks. Apart from Roof Air which happened once only. They are going to replace our roof as the TV aerial cable is stuffed. Yes they need to replace the whole roof I have been told :(. I do worry once its done we might get flow on problems.

Can you throw a tarp over the back of the van? until they can get it in?

we dont even bother talking to dealer now, email dean at dandenong.
With all the other stuff wrong with it they agreed just after we got it to build us a new van but wouldnt be ready till August and we are going away for 3 months in July so they said we could swap it for display van at bayswater. Which sounded good until we went and looked at it and it had some of the same issues, including a screw going through roof making a hole in exact spot as ours!!! We said no point swapping it and pointed out problems with display van went there 2 weeks ago, van still there for sale and they haven't even fixed the most basic things, they don't care!
They will take it back to dandenong to fix under warranty but not sure we want them to touch it. They told us workers are low payed and unskilled and they basically dont do any quality checks, they just fix what people notice!

yep 3 kids so we need the 3 bunks, they won't swap it now anyway. They offered that when it was still brand new as they could just on sell ours as brand new. We have used it once and had gone back once to have stuff fixed so not new anymore so they wont swap it.
On another note, have you put shelves in the wardrobe if so how many and did you just screw them in place

Hi Marie, welcome to the forum, shame about your windows and I agree whole heartedly that when you pay 34K for something its reasonable to expect the windows not to leak.
