Well bought a Conia 22" LCD TV this week. arrived at work today.

Noticed 12v input is purley the transformer output. WHat have most others done ?

1- Buy new lead on ebay , from 12v TV plug to cig lighter
2- Cut transformer lead and install 12v cig plug ?

curious ?

Steve
PS- checking ebay now

too big.. was going for a 60" 3D and 7.2 system thought I cut it down a little :)
Could always setup like my old recording studio setup 15" sub and pair of three way monitors. I used to show metal bands the volume knob and make a coffee in the next room. Normally I could easily talk over the level when I mixed and recorded.. 10-12 hours days you cannot have it always loud.

we brought a 19' Philips or Corina (cannot remember off hand) one ages ago - TV & DVD player all in one
its also 240v/12v - with the cables....... and I think you can plug in external speakers, and or another DVD player
was a bit of coin - $300 or so I think, but its lasted the last 5/6 years without problems

Just keep in mind not all TVs with a 12v input will work of a battery. We had the Aldi 18.5" led TV/DVD combo and it would not work with said Jaycar adaptor. Would just drop out suddenly due to low voltage.

Yep that's the one..... Just note that it is only 50cm long (Fits ours with a couple of cm's to spare)
ok then happy with Kogan its 1.5m. On the arm I just setup I have around 20cm spare only after being threaded through cable hiding thing in arm. Although I grab one for outside and a spare.

@achjimmy yes and I took a chance on the Palsonic as no where it says its 12v officially although thought I could return easily to Dickies.
