sorry for the Hijack @achjimmy

@Dobbie get a proper battery gauge fitted - like this from Redarc

52mmDual Volts-BC-009b.jpg

easy to see
easy to read
tells you instantly what you want to know

also, think about a small solar panel plugged in while car is not in use, just to keep the Battery up to date - immobilizers and such still use battery power while car is just sitting there

again, sorry for the hijack @achjimmy

what I think @Dobbie was trying to ask, was

did your Ctek notify your phone to let you know the battery was low

or

were you curious and just happened to have a look

(I got the bit about you had just fitted it and then found it was low - but I think others may have missed it as well)

Thanks lads.

Yep. That's what I thought I was asking but.....

I'll have a look at the Redarc and use my spare panel advantageously while it's not needed elsewhere.

Didn't mean to hijack topic but me fingers react when me mind is engaged.

Disengaged now.

Ahh okay sorry, yeah no worries with hijack its albout info.

In that case I'd just fitted the ctek so and my phone was on silent. Not sure how often the phone polls the ctek unit . The battery gauges @bigcol posted are best if you have room?

best spot for any extra gauges like that are in a Pillar Pod
have a look here on ebay

at eye height,
your looking forward anyway
and the Redarc (Autron is what I have) have alarms that go off if you want to set them

there has been much debate about the legality of Pillar Pods & if they obstruct your vision
if in ANY doubt - check your local Licensing Dept. for the current up to date Rules & Regs.

After having the 200 for 3.5 years Iam amazed at its capability. I really haven't taxed it but anything remotely difficult it's done with ease. I have felt for a while that it's infitley more capable than I am ! My boss bought one for his wife. He has a Patrol GQ with LS7 and 35"s and he is suprised how capable the 200 is off road.

This video is a good example. Look how easy the 200 does it over a very capable 105.

The extra fuel filter mounts of the oem filter and you can tap it and see it flex the inner guard. I read somewhere someone had fractured the inner guard. Not sure you'd have to do a lot of corros but would suprise me it did move a lot. Made up a simple bracket to brace it of the lower section. No flex what's so ever now.
