I slip the thongs off and go barefoot. Don`t ya love how the one little stone can always find it`s way under your heel.

Double pluggers always. Driving, going out, even mowing the lawn. A pair at the front door, a pair at the back. I know that's wrong but I just can't stand shoes.

This time of year it's thongs or nothing.
Cooler times of the year it's pretty much just runners.

I used to wear calf high lace up boots in my old job and got used to driving with them on, but prefer the freedom of more space around my feet (plus everyone gets to see my pretty feet, just ask the GLW about them;);))

when hooking up and traveling - shoes are the do's
when pottering around home, and have to go to the shops or whatever - thongs are taken off when driving.
unless its a planned trip to the shops- then it will be shoes

cheers

all these replies and no mention of crocs :)
for me it's barefoot or boots, hard to heel toe the hilux in thongs (like it makes a difference to how fast it goes)

Near Darwin
Orthaheel sandals for inside as I need arch support.
Crocs (Cheap as chips), with arch supports, for general outside. BTW, Crocs give their own distinctive suntan marks and up here that's all year round.
Distance walking or driving in shoes/joggers/runners.
Steel capped boots for heavy work & welding.
Have never understood driving in thongs.

And more importantly an old double plugger is useful as an emergency washer for the yabby pump.

Crocs are ugly, but they are awesome camping shoes (they don't float off when walking in water like thongs tend to do, they dry super quick, they give decent support, and they give a bit more protection than thongs) - I only wear mine bush camping or out on the boat, where no one will see them!
