We are heading to one of our favorite camp sites this weekend. Not really a caravan park as such as there are no set campsites. You can't book but show up and find a spot where you would like to set up. The owners or manager do the rounds each afternoon to collect their fare.

The bathroom amenities are the best I've seen and are always clean and tidy. There are powered sites but best in best dressed. The powered sites are also closer to the amenities. As you get closer to the river though the camping areas have no access to power or water but have great views over the water. There is also a good boat ramp.

A must if you are heading down south and they are also dog friendly.

Most of the churches resigned a lease for the Holy Mile. Not 99 years though this time. The lease ran out during the GFC so the shire would have been stupid to reclaim and there was a fair bit of protest.

There are some great caravan parks and free camps in the Southwest but the weather in winter can be painful. Last year was the wettest and windiest winter I can remember.

We're from north of Perth and although there are some great spots up our way would love to see some photos of South, been hearing about fonty's pool for years, just don't trust brochures, I'd love photo feedback on some of these places.
