Weber Q

I had a brainwave this morning, setting up a slide rail in the front locker to house and allow the sliding in/out of a Weber Q BBQ.

Does anybody know if this has been done before? If yes, could I ask you please provide some details.

If not, it may be a case of breaking out the drawing board.

I think I read somewhere on this forum the Baby Q won't fit in there

Hi NissPat, we are storing the Baby Q in the locker, however you may be right, it may not sit flat? It certainly goes in on a tilt?

Do you know if I can fasten hardware to the floor of the forward locker?

Not sure on the floor mate, but glad to hear the the BBQ fits in there. That's where mine will be going in...Cheers

I have the side hatch next to the tunnel boot, The Q sits in there without the lid.

Oh I tried with the lid on so it will live in its bag on the spare wheel/drawbar when travelling

doh! The 18.57-6 works a treat, however have to investiage the horizontal aspect...
