Exterior Tree Damage

When packing up yesterday from a week at Hervey Bay the front lid has been damaged by leaves etc think the tree was a jacaranda or similar? Any ideas to get the marks off? HELP!!

Yep.

Ours looked like that with bird and bat crap and some tree sap.

We used the 3M stuff that came with the van, then marine fibreglass polish.

Good as new now but it took ages!

Will let you know after this weekend if the 3M stuff works as @Dobbie recommends (If the forecast rains/storms disappear!)..... Have similar stains on our van from the Easter trip but no where near as much thank goodness! (Was supposed to do it last weekend but ended up fixing the daughter's car)

Hi,
I had similar marks and used the 3M cleaner followed by a polish. It came up very well, but took a long time and some effort. A mate of mine used tar and bug remover, but I haven't tried this yet. I fine if I regularly polish the van, it's easier to clean off.

Yep....I challenge anyone to beat the excrement from thousands of fruit bats that seemed to use our van for target practice. Night after night.

I had to start by scraping, then washing, then the polish trick.

Yuk!

Thanks guys for the tips! Found the 3M bottle, visited super cheap for an electric buffer and started, and kept going and going and going! Making good progress but can still see marks faintly..... hopefully a new day will be successful?
