I just had to change the wheel on my 16.49-1 and noticed that the spare is slightly smaller.... is this common practise ??

Hi @Janbo I would have thought that the spare was the same size for obvious reasons, especially if you were in the middle of nowhere :)

Will be interesting to see what responses you get with the different models and years these were built.....

Spare should be the same size as the one's on the road if it has a differn't tyre mounted then check the markings on the rims they should all be the same, if not then I would say the road wheels have had an upgrade.. Had it from new or bought 2nd hand.??

I agree with @Drover :thumb: They should be all the same from the factory

Mmmmmmm, which reminds of something I need to do............need a new spare that will match the one's on the road the 195 is a bit skinny and lower than the 215's.

Apparently it was all a big mistake, the spare should have been the same size as the vans wheels...which make sense. The dealer has replaced the rim and the tyre so all good!!
