Replace drop down soap tray with a drawer?

Has anyone replaced the drop down soap tray with a drawer?

i've seen it done on a customers van, always assumed the sink was in the way

Haven't done it myself, but some here have, it ends up a slightly smaller drawer than the rest, due to sink

I have done that using flat pack drawer kit from bunnings, trimmed 1 side and back to clear sink, draw now used for cutlery tray.

When I saw this mod I went straight to my expanda to plan the mod. Unfortunately my sink is the other way around. No chance of getting a draw in my van.

Purchased it from Bunnings today, just need to trim up the drawer and install it now! Thanks for the info.
