Hi.

I've been doing some necessary cleaning out of my files and came across this article.

It's a bit out of date but has some good general advice and lots of people ask these sort of questions so it might be a good starting point for those interested.

I know I found it useful years ago.

and the one I was really looking for!

READ THE INSRUCTIONS FIRST on the first page.

Spreadsheet will give a guide to 12v power usage. Anything in yellow can be changed by user to suit individual circumstances and is particularly useful if you are trying to decide on extra solar, extra battery, fridge etc

Parameters can be changed to see how changing what to have to what you need affects what you really need.

Again, I found this useful and still play around with it every now and again.

Whoops! Can't seem to upload the Excel Spreadsheet...can someone give me some destructions then I'll post it.

sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry.

Don't have gmail, hotmail etc....just my ordinary mail.

Using an iPad at moment but can try to send via main computer but it rejects an Excel spreadsheet.

I guess there is a solution.

Forum appears to only allow .txt, .png, .jpg, .pdf, .zip, .jpe, .gif files. What you need to do is zip the excel spreadsheet then upload

Have got numbers but there's no way I can upload the file from the iPad.

I tried but couldn't do it. Maybe I'm techo challenged and give in easily.

There is a spread sheet here http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=31342.0 this is the one I used when setting up my soft floor C/T 12v power requirements, now I have the Expanda the principle is still the same. I still run the same 12v gear as I did with the soft floor the only real differences are the water pump and toilet flush pump.

Not quite the same...but thanks!

It will do the same thing as the one I have.....principal is the same and they do provide the opportunity to vary calculations to suit different scenarios.
