If you are around Balcatta or Welshpool then West Coast Fasteners is the best place I get all my stuff from them and it is around a 1/3 of the price of Bunnings. and you can buy exactly how many you need whether it be 1 screws or 1000000000.

Also as Achjimmy said if you hit a upright (alum box section) or your van has Alum cladding then use a anti corrosion paste (lanolin will do it) we used Duralac on Ally boats with great success

For anybody fastening a picnic table to an alloy cladded van or into the frame. Just be aware that stainless and alluminium don't mix! They establish a corrosion in the alluminuim . If you want to use stainless clear the alloy cladding hole so the screw floats in and the sika or whatever will insulate the alluminuim from the stainless fastener. The 3mm ply is what will do the holding anyways.

do Expandas have aluminium cladding? or are they fibreglass external?

Expanda's are Fibreglass but they have Alum bracings under the cladding (you would be lucky to hit one drilling in the side)
Zinc will corrode the alum faster than stainless.
Don't sweat it I put 316 SS screws in a Ally toolbox about 5 years ago and you would be lucky to see the corrosion.
But mix it with Salt air and it is much faster
a dab of Duralac, lanolin or even sika and you will be fine.
