Hey All,

Does anyone use the external BBQ?

Just planning a trip away and debating on if I'll take my Baby Q or just use the BBQ on the side of the van.

I will have the awning out so I am thinking it may catch all the rising crap?

Can anyone comment with some personal experience?

Cheers

We only have a BabyQ and use it all the time..... It gets set up at the back end of the awning when no annex wall are fitted or under a gazebo out the front when the annex is setup! No issues with rising crap as yet!

Our weber BBQ gets set up if we are staying more than one night. Use it as much as possible.

No effect on awning as we use a 3m gas hose and can move it wherever we want it. Keeps life simple as well as the shopping list.

If overnighter only we make do with little gas stove.

Unfortunately, we've never cooked inside but I guess it will come sometime. At least the inside stuff is very clean.

Forgot to mention, no crap on side of van...nothing on side walls etc.

Easy peasy as Jamie Oliver would say.

We use the BBQ on the side of the van and haven't had any issues with stuff on the van or the awning, we have used it a fair bit but just for your basic BBQ food. All good!
