nah, not under the floor - your fridge slide would be in the way

I have seen them, with the spare standing upright in the back, along the drivers side

Had the spare in the back of my ZG, big pain in the bum and on the WG it was under the floor and in 270,000km never had to pull it out for real....

I see you have the classic Jeep scissor jack, throw it in the bin , first time I used mine it folded up and thats the second scissor jack thats done it to me.

Room was one of the reasons I didn't replace my 2.7 with another.

The main problem with the Grand is it's allready quite small in the back compared to a cruiser or patrol so I'd rather not.

fairy snuff

I'm not a big fan of wheel carriers on the back of cars, it spoils the lines and look
the problem I have with my Patrol is - sooner or later (yes, Patrols do have a fault) the weight of the spare will buckle the rear door, so it should be on a swing arm carrier
just hate them
so have gained a spare rear door for when it happens............... :)

Finally got the fridge shelf finished as well as under floor storage, long range tank has been purchased, just need to fit it, fitted new wheels as I got a deal on a set of late model wrangler rubicon rims and had someone want to buy my old rims. Getting set up for a Simpson desert trip next year.

I know
my old GQ was Petrol / Gas, but, the way I had it tuned - was Performance Gas...........
but, with an 85L gas tank & 50L petrol tank -
I only had a 200km range with either while towing the Van
thats why I now have a Diesel..........
