Electrical LED Strip Lighting off external 240v external outlet

can anyone recommend any LED lights that you can simply just plug into the external 240v outlet on the side of the van?

Some on flea bay but they look a bit flimsy to me.

Most use a transformer of some kind.....we've been looking for some for our outdoor area but rejected most of them as they're mainly 12v.

Now looking a bit further...will post if I find some but may need to go the 12v/ transformer route.

I think you'd need to go the 12v transformer route as Dobbie said. You could use DC plugs or solder the transformer to the led strip light and then heat shrink it so its a permanent connection like its a pre made one....

Does your van have the 12v socket next to the 240v sockets. If so it would be much easier to use 12v LED strips.

Thanx for the ideas everyone. In the end ive gone for a rechargeable 500 lumin LED wand from Bunnings that plugs into 240v outlet. It fomes witn a stand, hanging hooks and is magnetic so you can also use that to hang/hold it onto metal bits too
