I have a 2008 Jayco Sterling with solar power already fitted.

But the solar controller does not have any wiring to the LOAD terminals.

I presume that the battery input wires on the SETEC should be connected to this LOAD input on the controller, but what will happen when the 240v charger is in operation. Will it charge the battery through the LOAD connections.

No, the setec handles the power load, the panels just hook up direct to battery, seperate to the Setec. Well thats how mine go and as I understand they should be connected.
The panel load isn't used.

That's exactly the way mine is wired, the LOAD features of the solar controller are not utilised.

Very disappointing, I could play for hours with my last van!

Do not use the load for you solar controllers
It is really just a trigger for a relay or to run lights after dark (setting sometimes in the controller)
If you try to load up the controller with anything bigger than a outside light it will usually shite itself

Wire the solar direct to the battery and leave the load alone (unless you want to run dusk to dawn lights)
