Hi
We are looking at buying a 2005/08 expanda due to budget. Can hard lids be fitted to these models?
Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks

I've never heard of them being retrofitted @Mozza66 but that doesn't mean they can't (But I doubt it)
We had bed fly's on our 2007 soft top expanda. Got them from here and they kept the bed ends dry. Just something else to setup.

@Mozza66 the Expandas were changed a lot when hardlids came in. The actual beds end was shrunk iirc so conversation over to later models would not be possible . There used to be a yahoo Expanda group and on there was photos of some mods people had done to soft end expandas. Including a bubble from the front of a semi trailer modded onto the front of an Expanda. If your handy you could do something, we had an 06 and other than having to set up the flys the bed ends were good. And with the flys setup properly there was no chance of a wet bed end unlike the later hard lids which without some work and flys can also leak!

It's albout what you can afford mate, we'dstill be happy with the original if that's all we could have
