Extra hatch

Hi twscoot I was reading your post on putting an extra hatch and thought what a great idea.Just wanted to know how you measured the position where the hatch was going to go to meet with the bottom of the draw. Would hate to make a mistake and where did you buy the hatch from not sure if your from Melbourne . Would love to here if any body else has done a similar thing. Thanks in advance

Hi Al.
Hatches came from a boat shop (Bias boating and about $50 each) and I think from memory the hatches had a reasonable amount of room around them so that fit nicely within the checkerplate side of the van.
Honestly it was an educated guess that they'd fit.
One of the best modifications I made though. I even added one to my new Starcraft into which fits our tables and chairs.
