16' Series Expanda 16.49-1 bed size?

Gday all...

We are weeks away from receiving our first expanda.. The wait takes for ever!

We are looking at buying bedding etc this weekend but we have a question.
What size are the beds in the 2015 model 16.49-1? Are they both queens? We can't find the info anywhere.

Also does anyone on here tow with a 80 series factory turbo cruiser on here? What's the fuel like?

We have a 2014 17.56.2OB and the rear bed is "called" a queen and the front is a double.... They are both slightly smaller than actual queen and double sized standard beds. Had the same in the old 2007 16.49.3 we had previously!

We use queen and double bedding and the sheets pull tight with no probs.

with queen size doonas in our
16.49.4

We have 16.49.3 and use double sheets on both.

A bit big on one and slightly stretchy on the rear but easy.

Can't help with fuel info but our Patrol does between 16 and 18 most of the time.

Whoops I buggered that up.
Anyhow we've got queen and double sheets with queen doonas in our 16.49.4
And they fit well

my 16.49.1 has a "double" at the front and a "Queen" at the back

but the double is just under a true double
and so is the Queen

Thanks much appreciated... I just assumed they were both queens. Does that mean I'm the 2015 that the double bed mattress folds in 1\3 and the queen folds 50/50?

Sorry. No idea as haven't checked out the 2015 model.

Ours is October 2014 and both beds fold out about 60/40 with the bigger bit on the outside.

it was a 3 piece mattress - now its a 2 piece

dont know about the 2015's....................

1 piece 2' wide
1 piece 3.5' wide............

I know the painful bit you are talking about! Had the same mattress in our old 16'er
