Anyone have a dometic awning?

The arms keep untenioning on mine in wind at the point in the pic.

The silver bracket which is the bit that is riveted to the awning arm seems to be able to rotate downwards ever so slightly so in the wind it moves quite a bit.

Even if you tie down the barrel it doesn't stop the arm pivoting in the wind.

Anyone else had this?

We have a Dometic awning and ours is the same. I'm always nervous in the wind as it moves quite a bit and make a fair bit of noise so I usually pull it down when its windy or at night. I think the AFK would reduce that but we don't have one so can't confirm that....

Thanks, was reading another post and it said with the dometic awning once you have it setup the way you want it to switch it to roll up mode and that should reduce the give at that point.

Going to give that a go next trip.
