Exterior Canvas ends pulling out

Hi There
I have a Jaco 2008 Expanda with soft end tops and I notice the top canvas corners are pulling out of the channels that they are sandwiched between on the caravan body .
It looks to me like there is to much tension on the canvas and thus pulling out. ( canvas shrinking perhaps)
Does anyone know the best way to refit the canvas into the body channels /slots.?
Any help would be appreciated

I made a chisel out of wood, with a flat end on it so it is not going to cut into the canvas. Use this to hammer it back into the c section.

The canvas my not have shrunk, it may be that over time the wire cable has stretched just slightly over time, either way by shortening it a touch should fix the problem.
But I would just refit the canvas and see if it happens again first.
