Very neat again Bill, what type of latch are you using on the drawer?

I was going to reuse the handle from the drawer, but on thinking about it I wasn't too keen on having the handle nearly at face level in the narrowest part of the van. I think I have a solution - proceeding with it at the moment - photos when finished!

I have now put the timber section that I made to fit between the seats in place. While I was at it I put in two 12 volt outlets - one near each seat of the cafe dinette.
Also fitted bed flys.....

Great idea putting in the extra 12v points Bill. And how good are the bed fly's! We have the same and they are first class!

Spent a fruitful day the other day - sealed hinges on hard lids - yes we were starting to get water pooling on top of the bed canvas at both ends.
Also sealed around water heater - mentioned by others in another thread...
As well looked at hatch where toilet cassette slides in - Jayco don't bother sealing this opening either (at least on our van) - so out came the Sikaflex once more.....
Re siliconed areas in the shower - where side wall meets base and around toilet......
Shower curtain to stop toilet getting wet when showering - again idea from another forum member - many have done this.....
Crawled underneath and applied more Sikaflex where necessary......
Water filter installed.....leaked when first turned on - one of the O rings had become misaligned.......all good now......
Haven't had time to install pressure vent yet.......

Nice work Bill. What did you use to seal in the hot water compartment with and will it stop water from coming inside when changing anode?

Cheers.

Hi Burnsy - I used Sikaflex Pro polyurethane sealant and yes it should stop water getting into van - when I changed the anode a small amount did get in - this was before I sealed the gap....

Great work mate. Looks awesome. I had my anode out over the weekend so inspect. Have replacement one to put in so will have to see if mine leaks...

What did you actually use to seal the bed end lid?
Cheers

Good work Bill, My dunny cassette door isn't sealed either, thought ages ago that it's something that should be done, then I reminded myself I still have to do it when I saw a cassette door on a Coromal that was sealed, Might get Jayco to did it while its back there for the roof.

I used Sikaflex 291 - for fibreglass/marine applications. Hopefully has done the job.......
