Situated on the banks of the Murray River and tucked in behind the Swan Hill Pioneer Settlement, this is a great park to stay at.
1st thing to remember is not to confuse it with the other Big4 in Swan Hill on the Murray Valley Hwy!!
Plenty of powered sites on the grassy banks of the river. As there is no fencing, think about this if you have small children! Pool, jumping pillow, etc. so plenty to do. Great parkland next to the caravan park to wander, relax, have a picnic.
A very easy walk to the main street for shops, clubs, restaurants, take-away, etc.
Rates - $60 River site or $55 for normal site for a family of 4. Cheaper with Big4 membership.
Have stayed here for a few nights and will definitely return.
Hard one to call - which Big4 in Swan Hill to go to? If it is going to be hot, the kids might win with the water park at the Big4 up the road. If it is to go and just relax and still be able to wander into town by foot, then Riverside is the go. Both have a great feel to them, just different features. Mind you, having the river at your back window is a big drawer card!
