I am guilty.
I spent 2 days last week cleaning the van, rearanging everything ,restocking etc for our week away starting yesterday for it to rain for 2 days.Lucky the car hadn't got its wash yet.Trip postponed until next week so still get a chance to wash the car.

Well woke up very early this morning to find it's raining.........WTF!
Why is it that when you polish your car it seems to rain the next day. WHY!! Guess the car will just stay in the garage until we leave tomorrow morning.

A few weeks ago now I went up to South West Rocks for country championships.
WOW.....what a place if you haven't been or looking for a place to stop passing through South West Rocks is worth checking it out. This is the first time I've been to the area.
There is 2 parks one right in town on the beach (name unknown) but location is perfect there is a Big 4 about 5min drive out of town.
I stayed at the Big 4. Great park plenty of room and the water park is awesome, kids will love it. I will head back again for a family holiday.

Next stop is Swansea Belmont in a weeks time again first time to Swansea.

We visited South West Rocks a few years ago when we were in Coffs Harbour...... Got it on our "To Stay" list when we eventually get to tow the van over that way. Didn't see the Big4 park but the one in town looked like a good one.
When you head back there @caax try a meal at the Seabreeze Hotel (I think that was the name?)... Fish of the day was whiting fillets and it melted in the mouth!

@dagree yes we had dinner at the Seabreeze on the Saturday night when there it was pretty good. I got the wagyu beef burger bloody nice and big.
Location side of things, I think the van park in town is by far the best. It's within walking distance to everything.

Out with the old in with the new.
About 2 weeks ago sold the old van and went shopping the same week for a new van.
Ended up with a brand new Jayco Expanda 17.56.2. It was in the yard so pick it up in about 2 weeks.
Wish I knew more about electronics so I can put in Solar and a few extra bits.
Cant wait a small local trip is now on the cards before heading north in early Feb.

I like the colour combo.
I've been slowly putting stuff into the van and yesterday I went to put on the privacy screens, opened the bag and BAM..........storm covers.
The salesman said we had privacy screen included not sure if he got the 2 mixed up.

Ok for installing the storm covers?
I have instructions from Australian Annexes that can be adapted to suit.
Tap on thumbnail to get full size image.
You should get privacy screens as well even if you have to purchase them.
Our privacy screens are always attached and fold up under the lid when traveling.

Yes, storm covers need to be taken off when packing up, mine take less than a minute to take off and about 3-4 to put on. Privacy screens underneath always stay on. Assume then you don’t need further instructions?

No @Marv_mart but thanks anyway always good to hear how others do things.

EDIT: spoke to a friend and he mentioned about Solar Panels and i might need to double check with jayco because the weight of the solar panels could cause damage to the gas struts.
I'm thinking of putting 2 on would this be an issue? or should i go with the ground one and move around but i'm worried that someone will take it walk about.

You can also upgrade the struts to cope with the extra weight. You won’t damage them but the roof might be heavy to lift and might not stay up. Others have put stronger struts to replace ones that weren’t strong enough to hold up extra weight placed on the roof.

Howdy,
New to mods on the van.
My question is Do I need a Anderson Plug?
Just trying to work out a list of things I need to do.
